Job Summary: Our growing personal injury law firm is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our attorneys and clients throughout all stages of the litigation process. Responsibilities include direct client communication, gathering and organizing medical records, assisting with discovery, and preparing essential legal documents for trials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare case-specific documents, including medical records, discovery requests, and court filings
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are easily accessible and well-organized
- Conduct case investigations to gather relevant information and support attorney preparation
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and medical providers as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for each case
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal or in a similar legal support role preferred
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certificate is a plus
- Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the New York court system
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with experience in document and case management
- Ability to multitask effectively and work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
Compensation: $65,000.00 per year
